Anastasia of the Ringing Cedars

A phenomenon has been sweeping the earth for the last few years, and I've felt the eddies of its current for a few months now. But just the other day I decided to buckle down and start reading this book series by Vladimir Megre. Within 30 pages I have fallen in love with Anastasia, and simultaneously doubted the truthfulness of this story, which is explicitly stated to be true. So far I am taking it like the Carlos Castaneda books. In fact, Vladimir Megre could rightly be called the Carlos Castaneda of Russia. I say this with all the certainty that is possible for me having only read about 50 pages so far. But where Castaneda focuses on Brujeria, the native Shamanic sorcery of Hispanic America, Megre, through the character of Anastasia (whether she be real or imaginary), focuses on the oneness with environment that is the birthright of every human being. That, to me, is a superior kind of magic, and the kind I am cultivating now.

Okay guys, I'm halfway through the third book In the series. There are so many conceptual synchronicities that I have stopped counting them. Not only Anastasia speaks these out, but Vladimir does, too. I'm making plans to visit Russia. I've been intrigued by that country ever since seeing the film" Firefox" many years ago.

The second book even mentions the Law. Just by that name, without any explanation, but in the context of it protecting Anastasia. In the third book, you see power marshaled on her behalf in a very powerful way.

This book is a must- read!

I've read nothing but raving reviews about that series. I'm gonna go ahead and order a copy, might as well beings that reading seems to be my only hobby as of lately.
