Ahoy! I got a whim (which I go with) to ask the community here for some inspiration. My self can illustrate, or rather, "I am an illustrator." "We" draw. My art has always been a major part of my life-path, which has been very defined since I was little (thank Ø). I had the intent of becoming a conceptual artist for movie monsters and scary things. My art has always been fairly Dark, (http://www.manicdan.com) and recently I've been seeing the Light. My main issues so far have been I still see the darker scarier things as more alluring (or at least more do-able since that is what I am used to) but I don't feel the creative urge to make them as much anymore

Artschool was a wonderful learning experience, where spiritually I think I grew equally as artistically; but somewhere my creativity source changed.

I'm not saying I'm going to completely drop the darker aspects, for I do like the aesthetic, and what is Light without Darkness.

I would like some random suggestions, not necessarily spiritual in nature (but that is where my artwork has been heading since I've lost much of my anger and hatred). So if there is something meaningful (and somehow representable) for any of yourselves out there that I can conceive of getting jump starting this new direction, I will offer up "free" illustrations (Free being I send a digital copy most likely, since I work physically and digitally, if really inspired I will send the original or a signed print; Also not totally free, since you will be giving me a concept, which is worth a lot).

And I suppose I justify putting this under Enlightenment since for me (and many) the act of creating is very enlightening.

I appreciate any and all help with this Selfish endeavor,

I've always wondered what that would look like ....and how much that "picture" differs from reality outside this illusion.

I've been pondering on this all night, and will continue to today. I have some ideas so far.

Okay, I have some concrete ideas now. One is very right brained and the other left brained, and one somewhere in between. The first, Nothing, I leave the paper white, or even maybe not even have a piece of paper to begin with. The second, a Spiral at the center a Mystical Force that could be interpreted as Ø (would that break a law?) and outward from the spiral would then be escalating sized drawings of a little bit of everything, until I can't comprehend how to go larger, but I'll stop comprehending and keep going I suppose. The last idea would be The Universe (and then some possibly), but depicted more iconographic instead of literal.

I suppose if I want to do spiritual art, and I now can recognize Ø as the Self (Guiding me in a way I had always trusted, just never understood the direct process until just recently.), I suppose I would have to include Ø; for doing spiritual work in other directions would be mute. I think this is the exact dilemma I've been dealing with for some time now. Now to be tasteful and tactful enough to not offend Ø.

With out your suggestion Moose I would not have reached what just might have been an epiphany just now, thanks!

Be sure to consciously present or consciously conceal the fractally self-similar nature of all-that-is. (Alex Grey is a master of presentation, where Giger might be called a master of concealment/diversion)

Ø cannot be drawn, so no need to worry about breaking rules. Once you've made the switch, you realize that nothing ever breaks any real law. There is complete conformity to the Law in all corners of the universe at all space-times and time-spaces.

The Law is not so much a description of how we ought to be, as a description of how all-that-is interacts with itself, and the states (levels?) of consciousness pertaining to the different levels of an individual Observer's awareness of the selfness that is...
