How to say......?

Postby heebeejeebee » Sun Feb 28, 2010 4:10 pm

Hi All,

As suggested by Roage I would like to pose a question that I hope I can get some help with.

For a while now I've been finding it difficult to put my thoughts and feeling into words, both talking with people and written word.

This is quite out of character for me, at school I remember English being my favourite subject (the only one I passed!) and was praised by many teachers on my ability to (it's happening again....!!!!) er, put things into words well

A lot of times the words just don't come at all, my mind goes blank.

I probably haven't explained this as well as I could have (that being the problem!! ha ha) but was wondering if anyone else could relate to this and could shed any light or offer advice?

Thanks,

Lee

Sounds like you are experiencing left-brain disruptions. Perfectly normal for people when they start coming here.

Language is left-brain and you have already been moving toward right-brain. That is why you "found" the site. Do not get flummoxed just write what comes and indicate that it is a right brain statement and you will be surprised at what comes back to you.

It is like writing blindfolded.
learn to stop fearing the scribble. Eyes that see it may not understand today, change comes with every tomorrow.

thanks for the advice Moose...love the avatar by the way. I have seen it before but couldn't really get the hang of how to change the direction but now I just say in my head "right brain now" or "left brain now" and it changes on command......cool!!
