I have been reading Jonathan Zap http://jonathanzap.xanga.com/722019822/ ... archetype/ since before I left the Twelve Tribes (over 3 years now). He occasionally says really insightful things, and he always says what he says in an interesting way. He just finished a blog entry on Avatar and the Singularity Archetype. He is referring to an 'evolutionary step' that humanity is reaching toward. He refers to the collective eschaton (the feeling we all have that 'something' is coming) as an "evolutionary event horizon". Basically he is saying what many perceptive people have been saying for many years. But like I said, he always says what he says in an interesting way.

for example, in the section entitled "The Glorified Body" of the above-mentioned blog entry he says:

“Although the Glorified Body occurs in endless variations there are two very broad categories in which the term ‘Glorified Body’ will be employed in this article. One use of Glorified Body refers to the inherent ‘energy body’ that all human beings possess. Sometimes I will substitute ‘energy body’ to make clear this first meaning of Glorified Body. The second, and somewhat overlapping, category of use for the term ‘Glorified Body’ is to refer to human or nonhuman entities whose manifest bodies are closer to energy than conventional flesh and blood bodies. This type of Glorified Body hovers in the collective psyche of the human species as a highly charged image and expectation of our further evolution. ..”

To me, this echoed strongly of Roage's recent thread "What I Am Occupied With" what-i-am-occcupied-with-vt52.html and the related thread in the private section.

I found this article intriguing, and thought you all might, too. He enjoys receiving emails too. I haven't even finished the article yet, but I think ol' Jon might needs visit us here. He's skimming the edge.
