New to the game

Postby Chevy » Mon Jan 23, 2012 10:25 am

Hi,

I just wanted to pop by and say hello - I'm new to the game, well, kind of...

In 2004 I was in a really bad car accident that left me with moderate brain damage. After a long stay in hospital and a lot of time spent in recovery I made the conscious decision that it was time to get on with my life again only this time I wasn't going to "piss-about" with the same nonsense that I had done prior to having had the accident, essentially, I was going to be a better person. If the truth be known I wasn't a very good person beforehand so being a better person wouldn't be too hard - I was quite partial to drink & drugs and very fond of the ladies shall we say. I was fortunate that my job as an accountant came very easy to me and that I was paid very well, which, helped finance my absurd lifestyle. First off, I quit smoking & drinking & taking drugs and concentrated on my recovery.

1 year after the accident I moved from the UK to South America and I'm now married to a beautiful young lady with whom I have two beautiful children and I'm living a 'dream-life'. You could say that since 2004 I have been "walking in truth" as I was unable to lie following my accident (quite a common result of brain injury) and as I said before, I wanted to be a better person so I did just that. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about money as I receive an annuity from the insurance company and I pay no tax on that because it is an insurance indemnity and is not taxable.

For the last 8 years (ever since my inner voice told me to be a better person) I have been researching spiritual matters, looking for some answers and I had come across some freeman on the land videos on youtube which got me interested in the idea of sovereignty and then I found the videos from this site and bingo! Eureka! The information on this site appears to be what I've been looking for all this time. Now, although I have been 'walking in truth' (through personal choice so to speak) for some time, I have never had an audience with the supreme authority or anything like that (at least that I know of - I do have anterograde & retrograde amnesia so I can't be 100% sure). Having pushed 'The Button' on here on 1-13-12 I've had very vivid dreams as mentioned on the Cheat Sheet III and on many occasions I've looked at the clock and its been 22:22 or similar and everywhere I look I see the number 37 (the fine structure constant linked to reality) so now I'm just wondering what comes next and whether there is anything that I can or should do in order to move things along?

Any response to this question would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chevy,

Welcome. So "who" exactly was that "inner voice" that seems to be so trans-formative in your experience?

Sometimes the audience comes in the form of a life changing trauma.

Judge it by its effect on your experience.

We seem to be preoccupied with the notion that it must take a particular form or that it should feel this way or that.

Our most important transformation occur as a result of what most would characterize as "bad".

That is unfortunate as we often miss the wonderful change that pain and suffering can bring about in our experience such that we often attempt to avoid it at all cost.

If you have gone through the material you should know that if an audience is required, not sure it is in your case as you seem right-brained to me, then you are going through the process right now. If careful attention is paid, one's life become a series of trust building exercises that moves one to a more acute perception. Once one's perception is moved sufficiently it allows for what is described as "an audience". There is no need to "move something" that moves on its own. Seeing the introduction of numerical clues now within your attention range I would say that you are doing fine. I now know why I have been seeing an increased number of "37's" lately. ;)

The more time you occupy yourself consciously in the Now, the faster you will reach where you are headed.

You will have to be comfortable with the surprise of not knowing where you are headed. That is the fun part.

I will say that it is quite a feat to even "discover" the material, let alone, posting on this forum.

I found that Eckhart Tolle in his book: "A New Earth" does a good job in showing one how to employ attention to increase consciousness.

However it is light in the law and it is through law that one can perceive the pattern in what would otherwise be perceived as "random".

The other benefit, in knowing the Natural Law, is that when one sees, in their experience, the Natural Law at work actively then one's level of trust increases tremendously and with it the certainty of purpose and meaning.

The purpose and meaning often will bring about an audience as its acceptance is also through contract requiring a meeting of the mind.

Don't want it or expect it as I have come to see that it is not required in all cases. When it occurs is also different as we each have a unique life track.

It happens at the perfect time for you if it needs to happen at all.

You are not doing any "wrong" if it does not happen and you are not doing something "right" when it does happen.

Many are uncomfortable with that and that is as it should be I suppose.

Does that help?

Firstly, I'd like to say thanks for the comprehensive reply.
My inner voice experience was strange in that it took the form of inspiration. I just felt inspired to make changes for the better. The material on Roage.com would suggest that the supreme authority could be given the credit for the transformation of my experience and I'm comfortable with that idea.

I have always stated to friends and family that having my accident was the best thing that ever happened to me. I know that may sound strange but I've learnt so many things along the way that even if I could go back and change what happened in 2004, I wouldn't. It was a real lesson in humility and I feel that it was just what was needed in my life at that point in time.

If you are referring to trusting one's inner voice when you say trust building exercises then I have indeed had many such instances, all having worked out perfectly in the sense that they have been nothing but beneficial to my experience.

If the truth be known, I am actually living my life without "state interference" of any kind. I am for all intents and purposes invisible here in South America as I have no social security number & I fall outside the scope of any tax authority; my UK tax file has even been archived, never to see the light of day again. In that sense I guess that I am already living as a sovereign - I take full responsibility for my actions.

37 is indeed an interesting number and I shall take the time to elaborate a little regarding it's significance to me. 1/137 x 100 = 0.729 - the fine structure constant, which is related to electron coupling within the hydrogen atom, if I'm not mistaken. Now, my date of birth is 3-2-1977 or better put 137-729. Also, 37/27 = 1.370370 to infinity and 27/37 = 0.729729 to infinity. If I write my date of birth as 3-2-77 it can be seen that I also have the 27 & 37, numbers that are deeply connected to this apparent reality. I have no idea what the significance of this is or may be but if there are no accidents then one has to wonder what that significance may prove to be....

Oh, and to answer your question, yes, your reply helped tremendously. Thank you for taking the time.

The fun factor takes a huge jump up when you realize you can take responsibility not only for your actions, but for everything you experience; everything that comes in through your sensory input. Everything that has happened to you, everything you have witnessed, every story you have heard, are all ultimately your responsibility. I won't quite connect the dots for you, because it appears you are very close to doing so yourself, and the joy of that discovery is something to be savored.

Thanks for posting!

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, although, I suppose that is the point. I mean that I'm aware that I shoulder the responsibility for everything that I experience as it is my experience - that's just common sense, if there are more dots to be connected then I shall welcome that experience too, in due course. All good things come to those who wait - as they say...
