Persons, individuals and orginizations

Postby Swift46 » Sat Mar 13, 2010 7:03 pm

So im in grade 11, and we NEED volenteering hours to graduate, hows that for an oxymoron. Im lazy so this whole year i kept ignoring it untill my mom just found one for me since I wasnt doing anything. So first I went on my city volenteer application website, which was titled something alosng the lines of "Individual application form". So then today I went there and I got a form for a criminal record check... everything on there was person this or individual that for an orginization. I even had to fill out a concent form, since im working with children, god knows what a 16 year old might do to a 6-12 year old. The funny thing is that I kept on getting these signs to do it and sign up as a person... although i would have done it anyways since there was kinda no other way. So now im voleenteering for this organization as an individual and getting along with these persons, its funny how they just refer to the people (children) as persons without their concent. Just thought that I'd share, I also slided the lady my form

did you sign 'without prejudice'? or draw a box around your signature? (four-corner rule) if so you are clear.

good one on sliding the form, though... "gotta keep the clergy on their toes!" (-Loki, "Dogma")

Have you been notified by Ø?

That is easier than hopping on one foot or touching the end of your nose. Are you starting to see a practical application of the methodology?

No... :( well atleast I learned something by posting this, next time I guess.

@ roage, no I haven't, but I have been seeing aplications of the contract law though.

Roage is right...

Learning all the club rules can provide only limited protection, and only if you make no mistakes. They WILL nail you on any slip-ups, especially since you are struggling to exit the fun house.

Becoming a real sovereign is much easier and provides unlimited protection.

If you can write in real small print you can nullify the contract or put your own terms in like being paid in gold etc. This a monstrous thing for them to expect you to be bound to.

Entry into this contract is an act of willingly making yourself a slave with no rights or property. No sane man would voluntarily do this so you were either coerced or insane and therefore cannot be held to the terms.

It as if the contract does not exist when the implied terms precipitate a presumption of being bound to "federal regulation"

Isn't the law fun?

the box means what is actually stated on top of it... "this is not part of the contract" basically if something is in a box, it's supposed to mean that the courts can't see, and therefore can't enforce it.
