question: the journey after the offer

Postby Joseph » Thu Apr 01, 2010 5:40 pm

Hi, I have a question about the journey to sovereignty after the offer.

Okay, is it possible to get to sovereignty just by trusting the SA solely while laying off books, video clips, audio Cd's, and even advise from people on this forum? I mean only rely on the SA based on what is shown to me through life experience.

The reason I ask is because I have a feeling that I will end up having a very different experience from Roage or anyone else.

Also it doesn't make sense for people to have the same path. The ego wants to know what to do, what paths to follow, and what to expect because Necter said, ego wants security and control. So one way to avoid feeding my ego is simply not knowing. Without knowing, I pretty much have to rely on my trust, my relationship with the SA, and learning from my experience from moment to moment.

Am I making sense?

You are making a lot of sense Joseph...your intention is a good one yet an intention it is ...
The point of the aiding in your experience is to give a hint at such notions, that is why we are here and Roage has done such a great job in translating something
which in effect makes clear your intention to Ø.
Any relation on the site towards Roage his own experience is just that...his experience , you have probably noticed everyone's experience is very different. You can only make that a hindrance for yourself if you are constantly comparing your experience towards others and you show lack of trust by wanting to know what it is before you actually know...and believe me you will know.
If you feel uncomfortable by any of what is shown on this forum or on Roage his site you can remember you are not obligated to anything ;)

Oh no. I am not uncomfortable. That's not the issue. I am very comfortable with everything said. The problem is I get too comfortable too easily.

As Roger once said to you in another post :

Joseph wrote:Okay, I just asked for God to start the process. I haven't done that yet until today.

According to cheat sheet II, the process supposes to be "natural, effortless, and worry free". Is that really true? From what I read so far, it supposes to be painful and frightening especially the part about going to through "dark night of the soul". That's why I put it off until now.

Now that you have asked trust Ø without condition and act on the experince that Ø presents to your attention in a timely manner. Trust what you are being shown is the Truth and you will eventually meet Ø. It takes trust, patience and courage to manage that which Ø expects you to process. Some of your life you have deemed shameful and uncomfortable and you will need to peer deep into it before you will know why it was good those things happened.

There is no same path here. There is only the same outcome, yet even that comes to you in your own unique way.
2 Painters paint the same tree, yet viewing each in turn it can appear they have both painted not the tree at all as to how you see it.

And EGO your wants to know the path, it needs to know how to place you back upon it's own path ;)

It is indeed possible to walk the path while closing out distractions (such as others' experiential reports). Only thing, you need to remember that your ego is very deceptive, due to its motivation to maintain its illusion of control. I suggest that, if you are led to 'go through' alone, that you remember that there is a compass available in the direct quoted words of Jesus (perhaps with the exception of that miserable "parable of the Minas/Talents"), and in the collective experience of the sovereigns here on this forum. Don't be afraid of anything. You are very precious in the eyes of the Creator, and you can hardly mess this up. The fear is half the fun.

I wasn't try to "close out distractions." I was actually just very confused. I wrote that post after finding out that my favorite Swami, Nithyananda, has been found a fraud. For me that is a big blow. Last year I have spent countless hours watching his stuff on youtube. I don't know much nonsense I absorbed. I am tired of "the game". I have been very confused for a long time.

Edit to add: also what I said in the first post is what I come up with at that point in time: I am tired of following this advise and that teaching. maybe we're just not meant to know where we suppose to go. Maybe not knowing is path.

Swami, Nithyananda? Is He not a Man. A living soucre of light, here for the experience also as you yourself are.?

I saw only a wize man trying to teach wisdom, caught in Co-Creation within ones own desire.
And for this the very Powers that enslave you to the system you find your self in, conclude a fraud and there they win.....Wisdom again Silenced.
It matters not what was done, only the words that were spoken.

Is it wrong that i sit here enjoying life to the fullest. I smoke, I drink, I taste good and the bad. I Make Love, I do all what Man Can Do.
Take note not just Joseph, They nailed a fellow brother to the cross. When wisdom speaks it must be silenced.

also what I said in the first post is what I come up with at that point in time: I am tired of following this advise and that teaching. maybe we're just not meant to know where we suppose to go. Maybe not knowing is path.

It matters not if you take the path now or later, you forget your here for the ride, and the choice you conclude is a choice that was already made well in advance.
Take care .

Thanks Moose! I think I was just depressed yesterday.

I think Nithyananda spoke a lot of wisdom. that's why I was so captivated. But his action after what happened seems very off or very inconsistent with what an enlightened guru would do. He could choose so many women. He doesn't need to have an affair with someone who is married. Also he doesn't need to put on a robe of a celebate, sit on a gold throne, collect lots of money, and build thousands of temples to affect people. He could be like Osho and still affect just as many people. He could take the robe off and get married and have kids and still teaches lots of people all over the world. I am very disappointed and very weary of getting duped because that has happened to me before.

No problem Joseph.

We are here only to cause the Ego you house to breakdown thus allowing you the little time inbetween for your SELF to be found.
We offer no dreams or illusions. There is no tricks of the trade. there is a place called Vegas built for that role :) we only aid where you become stuck.

Perhaps he chose a married woman because that was foreordained for the both of them, to expose the falsehood inherent in the action of judging another. As people pile on the slander and hatred for Nithyananda, they expose themselves for the ego-puppets they still are. They are not enlightened. Marriage is a human convention. It is a culturally defined relationship. If you examine closely the effects caused by the belief in marriage as a GOD-ordained institution (guilt, judgment, dishonesty, fear, jealousy, to name a few), you may be able to deduce the origin of such a belief.

One thing I know, that I was taught by Ø at a young age (19): to judge another is to elevate yourself, and to live in that state is to be blind and deaf to the wisdom of God.

Peace, brother.
