Recognizing repetitive pattern of lessons

Postby alik996 » Thu Mar 04, 2010 3:51 pm

Here is what I’ve noticed that many of the life situations are coming back to me over and over again.
What I’ve learned so far, that all those “situations” are really lessons and they bring your attention to it.

Realizing when something “not cool” happening over and over again, you have no one to blame. You just need to see the lesson.
But for the most part, accepting the situation – is the most difficult part.

Please collaborate with me on this subject.

Like the one who always picks the same type of abusive partner and suffers due to this..over and over the lesson comes till the observer can realise what is to be learnt! Could it be that the observer is allowing oneself to be a victim to others? or a multitude of other reasons which creates a victim of oneself or others till the source of the problem is understood and acknowledged!

This is just one of a plethora of examples!

If each lesson is only met with a cure of the symptoms rather than an acknowledgement of the source then the pattern will keep returning till the knowledge has been gained.

Follow the symptoms to the source and embrace the real pain...then you will win this game ;) ;)

I have noticed today that my biggest problem is my automatic response. Sometimes I exagerate certain stories or situations to my advantage. I have learned that doing those things can bring destruction potentially, but I couldn't stop doing them because I do them automatically. I do beat myself up every time it happens. It's very frustrating.

I do notice repetitive pattern of lessons. But I respond automatically. I will have to work extra hard to break the habit.

Live only in the now and notice all that you do and it will be exposed to you every time before you do it. You will find yourself looking and the most mundane things will become interesting as you will understand why you noticed them.

Once these lessons are processed one-by-one, eventually they will be gone. Sitting on the other side of the mountain of confused garbage is something absolutely wonderful that will make the whole process worth it.

Working through it, itself becomes easier and fun as time goes on and you will find no limit to you ability to forgive others and yourself. It is magic. Persist...

It is all understandable, but most frustrating part - is to determine what the exact source is.
What helps - is to unconditionally accept the situation. (But it does not make the process easier)

Trust first then comes answers. It demonstrates to ego who runs this place.

Give in to win!

Having had this same problem I will tell you, trying will not help. What will help is when you have that inner certainty that you are loved, and that love will never abandon you.

Simple security cures a mountain of ills. It is good to learn this. It is good that my parents raised me to doubt my worth, so that Ø could teach me.

Your full unconditional love has to be surrender to your true self like you say...that is all that matters ;) That is the simple solution and so simple that people will think it has to be more complicated! You see what I mean?

If there are any doubts at all in your left brain paradigm or from the deeper levels of your thinking or thoughts this will interfere and make the route back to source of problem/lesson broken....like a road with pot holes that will not be smooth! Moose put it perfectly in a thread in regards to trust and how this seems to be the key!

A common theme that I have came across with study into religions and spiritual teachers is that the key component is trust in the self and the supreme authority ;) They all say uit in their own way and as you make the transition over to right brain you will see this clearly I promise you, its always been there but from our former perspectives we could not see it! The change of perception is the process that's not easy...once you have flipped this over (and you will) it will be a game with the ego as it fights back to hold control....this is where the fun will start.

Ok I'm rambling again...I get thoughts and I just post away...forgive me!
