Symbol Scorpion, just what does it mean?

Postby GodIsMyJudge » Wed Mar 17, 2010 1:55 pm

Lately I've been seeing loads of scorpions everywhere in the clouds
and trees and even my couch! I don't mean REAL LIVE scorpions,
there are symbols out there that are shaped PERFECTLY LIKE A
SCORPION. The first time I found a scorpion symbol was in the
clouds, only one was shown. The very next day, on my way to
school, I observed 5 different scorpions in the clouds that
appeared all at the same time. From then on, I kept seeing them
constantly, so I felt obligated to research them, and so I did. I
did quite some research, and found myself VERY interested in
them for the first time. Maybe God is trying to show me
scorpions because they will help me discover the profession that
I must be later in life? Maybe you guys have some interesting
things to say about scorpions to help me out as well? :)

As you can translate the Bible, There are may versons. Only one meaning.

Luke 11:12

American Standard Version:
Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion?

11:5-13 Christ encourages fervency and constancy in prayer. We must come for what we need, as a man does to his neighbour or friend, who is kind to him. We must come for bread; for that which is needful. If God does not answer our prayers speedily, yet he will in due time, if we continue to pray. Observe what to pray for; we must ask for the Holy Spirit, not only as necessary in order to our praying well, but as all spiritual blessings are included in that one. For by the influences of the Holy Spirit we are brought to know God and ourselves, to repent, believe in, and love Christ, and so are made comfortable in this world, and meet for happiness in the next. All these blessings our heavenly Father is more ready to bestow on every one that asks for them, than an indulgent parent is to give food to a hungry child. And this is the advantage of the prayer of faith, that it quiets and establishes the heart in God.

And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”

“Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: / Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; / And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; / Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; / Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; / Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; / And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.”

“For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.”

Hmmmm, so do you believe this symbol is a symbol of great turmoil, suffering, and pain? I would understand if that were the case, for if we were to save people from their egos, they have to go through pain and suffering, their own hell, by fighting their egos to suppress it. Do you believe that's what it means? Also it may be that those who believe that I'm the deceiver when I bring forth the Truth, and they still believe that their way is the "right" way, that they will be punished by a punishment that is summed up by a scorpions sting. When I see these scorpions figures, it's the telson that stands out profoundly.

Thank you for translating my last post. I lack the insight . Thus it was a quick google search and copy paste action before tea.

Interesting questions taken from the post, i'll read it over. Until now a scorpion was just a scorpion.

Hahahaha, your welcome. :) It was just a matter of God's will, that's all. You were supposed to lay that information on me somehow so that I may further evaluate this symbol. Thanks a lot ^^. If anyone else would like to help out with this, please do. :) :) :)

My 2 cents: "we" as observers are incapable of "saving" anyone from anything. At best, we facilitate someone's self-motivated escape from Ego-control, through our cooperation with the holy Spirit. To me a scorpion is a symbol of the kind of person who carries a lot of power, and yet conceals the greater part of it, in order to use it upon the unwary. If you have your eyes open, you can avoid a scorpion. If not, they will engage you, entangle you, and sting you. Then you are food for them. The symbol can also serve as a warning that one is entering into a dangerous situation without full awareness of what he is getting himself into.

Your second interpretation of the symbol is very centered around your own role in other people's lives, did you notice that?

Daniel you need to look at why you seem been on saving or converting. You take liberty will perceived free will and that is an overt act in ego. It is not for me to judge but you are setting yourself up for a lesson that may involve scorpions.

Those who want scorpions will have them and you will not be permitted to save them from it.

You are demonstrating a fanatic zeal and a rather crass disregard for people. I would caution you from attempting to shame another on this board once more and there will be a lesson.

People have been trying to help you understand and you have taken it upon yourself to educate them. There were trying to be nice I would take more time and try to understand what they are showing you.

You ability at truth detection is not as adept as you have convinced yourself it is and I am not alone at noticing.

Yeah, I understand. When I say "save" I meant to help bring them to see the door that awaits them the marvelous journey that the SA has in store by putting full trust in God. From there, if they followed through, they decide whether or not if they walk through the door. That makes more sense right? I never literally meant SAVE, lol.
