The Objective of the Game

Postby roage » Sat Mar 06, 2010 9:26 am

This game is more popular than Pokemon it is just not apparent that we are playing.

Is the objective of the game now to realize we are playing a game?

Nice by the way:

Yes but now that you know the cheat then we need to move to a new game. ;)

According to observations of many, there are many levels and many games.
There are number of games we play almost concurrently and subconsciously.
Realizing that it’s a game, and drawing the right conclusion it just moves you to another level.

I think rules are pretty simple:
Be aware of the game
Recognizing the lesson
Learning the lesson
Passing the exam by the action (based on lesson).

Hint: there is unlimited number of levels……..

Meh. I haven't played with the cheat yet... My life is still putting along. Just injured my knee. Yeah if there were a lesson in it, maybe i would see it? Maybe it's fun to get injured? If i had a real cheat I would be doing something different.

Sorry but IDDQD doesn't work ;P Or, at least, it isn't persistent if it does.

Okay... i found out the lesson. I was operating in beta mode (race-training on a hot 2-cycle dirt bike) and getting absorbed in the physical work i need to do, as well as dwelling on my past. Ø gave me this opportunity to remember who is really in charge, as I am to be out of commission physically for the next 2 days. It will be late this week or early next week by the time I am able to get done the things i was hoping to have done monday ...

negative reinforcement resurfaces when we aren't paying attention.

Bonus: After realizing this lesson, I went to the Verizon store, where they knocked 126.00 off my bill (there was a discrepancy) when they only should have knocked off about 90, plus they gave me a free computer for signing up for another 5GB/month broadband account. (they shuffled me over into a 'buy one get one free' category that i was not really qualified for).

can't top that.

I have noticed that since becoming sovereign, spankings are usually followed by ice-cream cones. Not that I would want to test that! I may have permanently damaged my knee, but at least I know who is really in charge.

I would, as it is nice to prove an axiom! :D

I like this question. There are many answers available.

One major objective of the game, which nobody has mentioned, is to provide lessons for others. This objective has no use to the ego, but since we are really playing solitaire, this is actually one of the most important objectives.

I believe my primary purpose (unconscious, of course) for my first few years on earth was to provide lessons to others--some very difficult lessons for my parents and a second chance exam for my grandparents. However, I have a theory that education is a paradox where, with sufficient attention, the knowledge gleaned is almost always equal to the knowledge imparted. Acting as another human being's lesson is a fascinating way to learn compassion.

I would love to hear others' thoughts on "being" the lesson for another human being--anybody?
