I do a topic on menstruation and guy roll eyes and is in shock. Why is that so? why are you shocked when I talk menstruation? what is that? it is blood y'all. Blood that come out of your females body once a month. What is there to be scared about?

As a female, I can say that you really can't blame the guys for feeling the way they do. The fact that we menstruate is one of those feminine mysteries that men will never truly understand, just as there are male mysteries that women will never truly understand. Do we really *need* the men to understand our mysteries? It's our's. Not their's. I rather enjoy that we have the power to bring life into this world and that we have our cycles to signify that power. And as unpleasant as it can be, men really need no part of it, though it's always nice when you have men in your life that are compassionate about it (you can't expect it, though). That compassion is a two way street as well. I don't think it's necessary to forcefully validate that mystery to anyone who wasn't really meant to understand, and never really *will* understand. Let the guys have their mysteries, and we girls can have ours. As much as we like to think that we are all the same, the differences are there for a reason.

Its not something thats ever bothered me really. My GF has no regular cycle so it can be(and has been) like 3 times in one month -or, not at all for 3 months. Other than that I dont have much to say about it, and why whould I.

Not all guys want to change women either by the way. If you look at how society is now, women seem to encourage each other in self regulating the wrong direction with that, that dont need guys to do it anymore. Besides, all those metrosexual guys out there are too busy moisturising and doing they're hair to bother lol

Only thing that ever confused me about the menstruation thing is the "Why?" that drives it. I'm not buying into whats taught about it, so the question remains what function does it serve other than what we've been led to believe. Have to consult the Supreme Autrority about that one...
