To Say Yes To This Instant....

...Is To Say Yes To All Of Existence

Now Lady Gregory was Yeats' patron, this Irish person, and though I'd never seen her image, I was just sure that this was the face of Lady Gregory.

So I'm walking along, and Lady Gregory turns to me and says, "Let me explain to you the nature of the universe. Philip K. Dick is right about time, but he's wrong that it's 50 A.D. Actually, there's only one instant, and it's right now, and it's eternity. And it's an instant in which God is posing a question, and that question is basically, 'Do you want to be one with eternity? Do you want to be in heaven?' And we're all saying, 'No thank you. Not just yet.' And so time actually is just this constant saying No to God's invitation. That's what time is, and it's no more 50 A.D. than it's 2001. There's just this one instant, and that's what we're always in."

Then she tells me that actually, this is the narrative of everyone's life. That behind the phenomenal differences, there is but one story, and that's the story of moving from No to Yes. All of life is like, "No thank you, no thank you, no thank you," then ultimately it's, "Yes, I give in, yes, I accept, yes, I embrace." That's the journey. Everyone gets to Yes in the end, right?

— Richard Linklater, excerpt from the movie "Waking Life"

Is it not time to take you to "Awakening"? The material you present betrays you.

Great post. Yes there is only one story and in the "end" there will be only yes.

Umm... that's a seriously f___ed-up movie! LOL! I saw it and had that same feeling I did after seeing "Sixth Sense" for the first time. I was asking myself "Am I dead? Am I alive?" Then I watched "Solaris", wherein it says, in response to that very question "We don't have to think like that anymore."

Strangely this is something similar that was presented to me just a short while ago after having scribbled down a full page of other stuff(which I wont go into here).

It was(as written), "I just realised that every iota of this is of vital importance yet doesn't mean a thing".

This is turning into a strange trip...

Awareness seems to be being presented with a way of unifying several spiritual(and mental) practices while contextualising the truth of each to the capacity its required. You may have to bear with me on this, it seems like I have a constand babble of info passing through awareness that I'm beeing(huh?) driven to record to the extent of moving a notepad from room to room with me at times.

Appologies for hijacking btw lol

  I am constantly taking notes on said notepad as I also get huge flows of information either mentally on fall over it while online or off! I took my pad upstairs to bed last night so that I could write down anything that came through the dream state!

Oh yeah now try to convince someone it is real!

It is a continuous meaningful dialog between you and Ø.

Once it starts it has no end.

And you thought you were alive... ;)
